Asus Keyboard Support

G-Helper also sets up external Asus keyboards, the same way it does mice and headsets. Connect a supported keyboard and a button with its name shows up in the main window. Click it and the keyboard settings open.

What you can change

Not every keyboard has everything on this list.

  • Lighting: effects like Static, Breathing, Color cycle, Wave, Reactive, Ripple, Starry night, Quicksand and Rain drop, in your own colors, speed and brightness.
  • Color each key: pick a color and click keys on the picture of your keyboard, or fill them all at once.
  • Remap keys: click a key on the same picture and choose what it should do instead.
  • Follow the laptop: the keyboard copies whatever lighting your laptop is running.
  • Screen: on Azoth models that have one, turn it on or off, set brightness and pick an animation.
  • Battery: charge level, switching off when the keyboard sits unused, and a low battery warning.
  • Profiles: switch between the profiles saved in the keyboard.

  • ROG Azoth, Azoth Extreme, Azoth X
  • ROG Falchion, Falchion RX, Falchion Ace
  • ROG Strix Flare, Strix Flare II (its little display isn’t supported)
  • ROG Strix Scope II, Scope II 96, Scope RX
  • ROG Claymore II (the detachable numpad isn’t supported yet)
  • TUF Gaming K1, K3

Wired and wireless versions of the same model count as one.

Good to know

Colors and key changes are saved on the keyboard itself, so they stay put when G-Helper is closed.

If the keyboard is plugged in but no button shows up, close Armoury Crate or any other Asus app. Only one of them can control the keyboard at a time.
